Hi! My name is Alena.

I’m a senior at the University of Southern California studying human biology and a soon-to-be medical student. Something else about me? I love food. I have been in the kitchen helping my mom cook for as long as I can remember and have since become an avid baker.

One of my favorite ways to connect with people—new or old—is through homemade food. Once the COVID-19 pandemic shut down most face-to-face interaction, I created this blog as a way to continue sharing a bit of what makes life so special: recipes.
