Chocolate Protein Milkshake

Have you ever used tofu in a smoothie? If not, I highly recommend it! I promise, it doesn’t actually taste like tofu. It adds a super silky texture, and gives the shake a boost of healthy fats and protein. The combination of banana (fresh or frozen) and silken tofu makes this healthy shake taste like a milkshake, but healthy and vegan friendly!

Chocolate Protein Milkshake
Prep Time: 5 mins
Yield: 1 shake

Ingredients

  • 1 large banana
  • 5 oz silken tofu
  • 1 oz chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup plant milk (I use almond milk)
  • small handful of ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately!

Per shake: 335 calories: 36 g carbs; 7.5 g fat; 31 g protein
